Triennio (half-modules) Il corso è rivolto a pianisti di livello avanzato ma ancora in formazione (non laureati). L’obiettivo minimo da raggiungere nel corso dei tre anni di studio è la preparazione di tre brevi programmi di recital di livello tecnico e artistico significativo. IL PROGRAMMA DI STUDIO NON SARÀ IMPOSTO DAL DOCENTE MA VERRÀ CONCORDATO CON LO STUDENTE SIA PER QUANTO RIGUARDA LA SCELTA DEI COMPOSITORI E DEI BRANI STUDIATI, SIA PER QUANTO RIGUARDA IL NUMERO DI OPERE E LA LORO DURATA. Nel corso dei tre anni è comunque suggerito (MA NON OBBLIGATORIO !) lo studio di brani o gruppi di brani scelti tra i seguenti, a meno che lo studente decida di dedicarsi prevalentemente a un periodo o un soggetto specifico da decidersi col docente: Una Suite o Partita o Toccata o Tre Preludi e Fuga di J.S.Bach e/o Un gruppo di quattro Sonate di D.Scarlatti Una o più Sonate di Haydn o Mozart o Beethoven Sei studi da concerto da Chopin a Ligeti Una o più opere importanti di Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Brahms Una o più opere importanti di Debussy, Ravel, Skrjabin, Prokofieff, Rachmaninov o altro compositore del XX secolo La preparazione ed esecuzione di uno o più concerti per pianoforte e orchestra è fortemente incoraggiata ma non obbligatoria. Per lo stesso motivo nel corso dei due anni saranno oggetto di particolare attenzione e approfondimento argomenti di carattere filologico, prassi esecutiva, comprensione strutturale, armonica, timbrica e retorica relativi ai brani studiati. Lo studente sarà aiutato a confrontarsi con aspetti significativi dell’esecuzione musicale (in esami, concerti e concorsi) come la memoria, la concentrazione e la comunicazione. La tesi per l’esame finale può essere sostituita, in accordo con il docente, con un programma di durata maggiore. - esecuzione di un breve programma da concerto di minimo 30’ |

BACH - 3 Preludi e Fughe dal Clavicembalo ben Temperato 2) L. van BEETHOVEN - una Sonata (escluse quelle dell’op.49) 3) F. CHOPIN - uno Studio dell’op.10 oppure dell’op.25 4) AUTORI VARI - 5 Studi |

The course is open to Italian and foreign piano students of advanced level. For this reason, even if there is not a compulsory program decided by the teacher, a certain variety of styles and composers is suggested for a complete education of the student. The minimum target to be achieved during the three-year study is the preparation of three short recital programs of significant technical and artistic level. THE CHOICE OF COMPOSERS AND PIECES STUDIED, AS WELL AS THE NUMBER OF WORKS AND THEIR DURATION, WILL BE DECIDED BY THE STUDENT IN AGREEMENT WITH THE TEACHER, and accordingly with the student’s personality and projects. Between the three years it is therefore recommended (BUT NOT AT ALL COMPULSORY!) the study of some works chosen for each of the following groups, unless the student prefers to work on a specific period or topic to be decided together with the teacher. A Suite, or Partita, or Toccata, or Three Preludes and Fugue by JS Bach and/or A group of four Sonatas of D.Scarlatti One or more sonatas by Haydn or Mozart or Beethoven Six concert studies from Chopin to Ligeti One or more important works by Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Brahms One or more important works by Debussy, Ravel, Scriabin, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov or other composer of the twentieth century The preparation and performance of one or more concertos for piano and orchestra is strongy encouraged but not compulsory. Some aspects of piano playing will be considered with special attention in relation to the works studied: philology, performance practice, structural understanding, harmony, timbre and rhetoric. The student will be supported in dealing with significant aspects of performance (in exams , concerts, and competitions) such as memory, concentration and communication. A written thesis for the final exam can be replaced, in agreement with the teacher, with a program of longer duration. |
